Rules!!!

I know what you're thinking; rules? Great, there's probably some secret word hidden in here that I have to use in the application. The answer is no. We're all old enough to understand that rules are important and therefore I am trusting you to read all of these rules.

One last important thing before we get started...This site is rated PG-13!

OOC Rules

• No spamming. All OOC boards need to stay on the topic they were created for. I.E: games go in the "Entertainment Board"
  
• No OOC to IC crossing. This simply means that if character Z's player tells you their characters greatest fear, then you cannot use that in IC posts unless given permission.
  
• No insulting other members. This board is for everyone and no one wants to hear you making insults. This also goes for racial, prejudice, and sexist slurs. Don't do it.
  
• Advertise ONLY in the "Advertisement" board. Not in the C-Box, not in any other threads, and not in PM's unless someone asks you to send them a link.
  

IC Rules

• This site is PG-13, therefore violence and language will be kept to a minimum, and only if what you're posting calls for it. I.E: slamming your knee into the wall would call for "damn it" and getting punched in the face would call for "you bitch" or "fuck"...but do keep the F-bomb to a very bare minimum.
  
• No sex threads...period. I don't care if you have {Graphic} or {R} in the subject title, I will not allow it. If I see that a thread has such actions then I will delete it and PM you a warning.
  
• There is no word count minimum, but because one liners are so difficult to respond to, we ask that you have a minimum of at least two paragraphs. We prefer quality over quantity here on this site so two paragraphs of detailed text is much better than five paragraphs of crap.
  
• No God-modding. You cannot control someone else's character without their permission, in which case you should say at the beginning *(person's name here) gave me permission to God-mod*
  
• No power playing. Every character has weaknesses, and while some are stronger than others, not every hit can be dodged.
  
• No killing another person's character without their permission. If you are going to kill your own character off, please let me know before hand so that I'm not all like "Wtf was that?!"
  
• Liquid time is allowed. For those of you who don't really know what that means, this simply means that you're character can be in two or more different threads.
  
• No IC to OOC crossing. If your character and character Z's player get into an IC fight, do not bring it out into OOC.
  

Graphics

• Your person has to be someone real. No anime, cartoons, or drawings. Real people. Hell, you could even use your own face for all I care.
  
• Avatars are an absolute must, you have no option with these, and they can be no bigger than 120X200.
  
• Make sure the person you want to use hasn't already been taken in the Face Claim.
  
• Signatures are not a must, though they are appreciated. Signatures should be no bigger than 500wideX300tall, and relationship signatures are OK.
  
• Relationship signatures are A-OK.
  
• One last comment, you may reserve a face before you do your application.
  

Application

• You need to do at least the minimum on the application or you'll be asked to fix it.
  
• If you're one of those people who like to do their applications in the first person, that is just fine. Just realize that when you RP it'll be in third person.
  
• Please make sure you use our application and not one from another board. If you do this then you'll be asked to redo your application.
  
• If your application remains unfinished for one month then it will be moved from "pending" to "denied". If you want to complete the app then PM an admin and we'll move it for you, though you'll only have two weeks to finish it.
  

Karma

• If you refer a person (it is written at the end of the application), and the person is accepted; You will receive 5 Karma points.
  
• For everyone who joins, and your application is accepted. You will receive 1 Karma Point.
  
• Anyone who is nominated for one of "spotlights" will receive 2 Karma points and whoever wins will receive another 2.
  
• Unfortunately there is no way to disable the "smite" option, so I ask this instead. If you have a personal issue with someone, please do not smite them. I just find it very rude and highly annoying when people do that.
  

Misc.

• Only one character per account, however there is currently no limit on how many characters a person can have as long as they have their own accounts.
  
• If you do decide to create new characters, don't do more than you can handle. Also, don't think that just because you're already a member you can slack off on the application. You still have to do the minimum, excluding the RP sample.
  
• For every two female characters that you create, we ask that you make at least one male character if you plan on making a third.
  
• All of these rules are subject to change as I see fit. However, I will send a Mass PM telling you what changes have been made if, and only if, they are an affect to you. (i.e. Word minimums, signature/avatar changes, etc.)
