Vampire
First off, this isn't a Twilight site, therefore vampires don't sparkle. Vampires are allergic to sunlight, garlic, and silver. They survive by drinking the blood of either humans or animals and they only wander around at night. The vampires have super speed and super strength, though they're not as strong as the werewolves. A vampire can be killed by either stepping out into the sun, getting shot or stabbed in the heart by silver, or by being beheaded. They can live an abnormally long amount of time.
Shifter
Shifters can only turn into one animal (ie: panther, wolf, hawk, etc.) They can change at will and have a life span that can last up to 500 years. While in their human form, a shifter has one of it's animals abilities. Abnormal eye sight, speed, strength, or even some kind of animalistic feature. Silver can hurt them if they are cut or pierced by it, but not if they're touching it.
Werewolf
Werewolves and shifters differ in more ways than they are similar. Obviously, werewolves can only change into a wolf-like creature. They are bipedal with an abnormal speed, and while they are slower than vampires, they are stronger. Even touching silver can hurt a werewolf, and if pierced in the heart by something silver than the werewolf will die. Like the vampires, they can continue to live until someone kills them. The full moon forces a change for newly turned werewolves, but after training and practice a werewolf can learn to control their urge. However, during the full moon, a werewolf in their human form will seem to have some anger problems.
Witch/Warlock
Like normal humans, witches and warlocks live normal lifespans. However, they were born with the ability to control a certain element. No witch or warlock can control more than one element, but the more training they have then the stronger their powers will be and the better they can control them. The only difference between a witch and warlock is that they are, respectively, female and male.
Human
Humans are just that, humans. They live normal lives with normal lifespans and are nothing special...except for those that know about the other species around them. There are three types of humans; 1.) those that are oblivious 2) those that are trying to help the rebels take over 3) and those that are trying to make sure the balance is kept neutral.
